What up Hustlers?

It’s been a quick minute! The Hype Hustle Staff hopes that every had a great holiday season!  Now that were back on the grind, we figured it was time to share some goodies with ya.

Hype Hustle’s Staff Photographer, Patrick Thomas, recently submitted his files from the photo shoots that went down with Gonzo and Like Baboons at The Vortex in Los Angeles.  Here’s a peek at a couple of the shots from each of the Artist’s Prize Packages.

Gonzo – At their best!  This crew of kids was seriously well-humored and a pleasure to work with!

Not your usual suspects.

“AHHHHHH!” ’nuff said.

The dudes from Like Baboons were equally entertaining.  These guys put their hearts into the shoot.

The drummer (center) proceeded to backflip moments after this photo was taken.  Serious monkey business ensues.

Abe – Doing the lead singer strut.

Deuce.  Apparently this dude plays bass and simultaneously photographs the ‘Boons live shows.  Impressive.

Drummer. Stuntman.

To top it off, we’ve got another HustlEveryDay episode for ya, fresh off the reels! Check it!

Hype Hustle cinematographers are currently editing the final version of Gonzo’s music video for ‘Tequila Congo’ which was shot on that night.  Keep your eyes peeled for that.

‘Eyy there Hustlers,

We’re back again today to give ya a look Behind the Scenes of Gonzo’s Music Video Shoot at the Vortex as well as their photo shoot.

It all came together on Tuesday, December 20th at 6:30pm at the Vortex Warehouse in Los Angeles. The film crew rolled in about the same time as the Hype Hustle staff which brought the evening to an efficient start.  While the film crew, consisting of Derek Hanson, Steven Matter, and Trevor Taylor, got to work on preparing their set, Hype Hustle Photographer Patrick Thomas got to work on the artists’ photo shoots. Scope out the photos below.

And intimate look at the brass section.

Hype Hustle Photographer Patrick Thomas manages to fit Gonzo into frame.  Barely.

Here you can see the film crew + prepping the stage for Gonzo’s shoot.

Derek Hanson directs the band during the shoot.

Pretty dope location, right? Yeah, we thought so too.

Gonzo lead singer, Alex Mashikian, cheesing.  Or singing.  Not sure.

Singer, Katiana Mashikian, does her thing.

Derek Hanson and Steven Matter shoot the Mashikian siblings putting on one hell of a performance.

Hope you guys enjoyed the look behind the curtain.  The music video for Gonzo’s sick new track, Tequilla Congo, coming soon!
